Welcome to the behind-the-scenes look at Hannah and Joey’s winter engagement session in the heart of snowy Alaska! As their photographer, I had the awesome opportunity to capture their special moments and had so much fun doing it.

We photographed outside of a cozy cabin surrounded by snow-covered trees as our starting point. The charm of the cabin, wooden textures and the scent of pine in the air, made for the perfect backdrop. As we arrived, it started to snow! Hannah and Joey were a dream to work with. Their chemistry is genuine, and their excitement is always so contagious. Their winter outfits, a mix of cozy browns and greys that complemented the snowy landscape perfectly.

Towards the end of our session, we decided to have some fun. Hannah and Joey were up for a playful snow session, and I was all for it. They tumbled, laughed, and tossed snow at each other, their joy was everything. The candid shots from this part of the shoot are some of my favorites. These moments, where they forgot about the camera and just enjoyed being with each other, truly captured their essence as a couple. Capturing their engagement was an unforgettable experience. There’s something uniquely beautiful about winter that adds an extra layer of depth and intimacy to photos, and this session was no exception.
