Before the wedding she took the time to get to know me and ask questions she knew would be important to me on the wedding day. She was truly amazing!!! I felt so comfortable with her and can truly say I loved every single photo she took! Laurel captured every moment I could've wanted and captured all the little details so I won't forget them. Having her as our photographer was the most wonderful decision and I can't wait for the next time I'm on the other side of her camera!"
I’m here for the real stuff: foggy coastline elopement ceremonies, quiet vows in your backyard, golden-hour beach hangs with your favorite people, and the in-between moments that tell the best stories [even after you’ve tied the knot].
Whether you’re planning a wedding, an Alaskan elopement, or just want to capture a fleeting chapter of life, I’d be honored to be a part of it.
Oh—and when I’m not behind the camera, I’m probably making someone’s favorite coffee. So yes, you can trust me with your timeline and your espresso order.
While I don’t offer full planning services, I’m always happy to help however I can. I’ll send over a list of trusted local vendors, and I’m just an email away if you need advice, recommendations, or help making timeline decisions.
That’s what I’m here for! I’ll help you choose the collection that makes the most sense for your timeline and priorities. And if you end up needing more coverage later, no problem—you can always add hours, even on the day of. I’m not the pack-up-early type (especially if the dance floor is poppin’).
Travel between Homer and the Soldotna/Kenai area is included in every package. If your wedding is beyond that range, I may charge a small travel fee to cover fuel, time, or an overnight stay if needed.
Yes! A 25% retainer is due to officially book your wedding/elopement. I’m happy to break up the rest of the payments however works best for you. The final balance is due two weeks before your wedding. A 50% retainer is due for all other sessions and the final balance is due the day of your session
All your images will be delivered in an easy-to-use online gallery. You’ll be able to download your photos in both high-res and web-size formats, share with loved ones, and even order prints directly. Your gallery will remain active for six months, so be sure to download your images during that window!
Although I am located in Homer, I am always down to travel anywhere on the Kenai Peninsula for weddings and photoshoots. I am also available to take on a few weddings outside of the Peninsula when my schedule allows. Travel fees may apply.
Trust me, I know how unpredictable the weather in Alaska can be. It could be raining in the morning and snowing by evening. Yucky weather doesn't have to ruin your session! I'm a big fan of the wind in your hair, and rain drops on rosy cheeks. If it's below freezing temps then I will come ready with hand warmers to share, and we can take as many warm up breaks in the car as we need to. With that being said, a reschedule may be necessary depending on the situation (if you have small children, if the road conditions are unsafe, etc). If this is the case, I am always flexible with rescheduling. I want to make sure that your session is the best experience possible, and that you are comfortable above all else.
