The Ceremony

Jordan and Jay celebrated their union in a truly memorable ceremony at Cusack’s on the Kenai. It’s a charming venue nestled in the heart of Soldotna, Alaska. This stunning setting, situated along the Kenai River, provided an ideal backdrop for their intimate wedding. They had their closest family and friends there to celebrate.

One of my most cherished moments from the day was seeing all the guests dressed in black. This choice beautifully contrasted with the vibrant fall colors, allowing each person to stand out uniquely against the natural landscape. I loved it so much!

The Dinner

For the dinner, everyone gathered at a single, stunningly decorated long table. The intimacy of dining together made for such a warm, familial ambiance that was truly heartwarming. This setting allowed guests to engage in meaningful conversations and created an unforgettable dining experience that brought everyone even closer.

The decision to have a smaller guest list added the incredibly personal touch to the occasion. There was time to shed tears of joy, to laugh, and to pause, breathe deeply, and absorb the beauty of the day.

What made this wedding exceptionally special was the effort of their loved ones, who played crucial roles in bringing the day to life! The bride’s friends and brother made her bouquet, while her mother, aunt, and sister-in-law did her hair and makeup. The groom’s brothers took charge of documenting the ceremony and other memorable moments, ensuring they would be cherished for years to come. Their aunt orchestrated an incredible buffet, and their grandmother baked the wedding cake! Every detail, suffused with love and care, came together seamlessly to create an unforgettable wedding day.
